In this research line, we explore how certain molecules naturally produced by plants (phytochemicals) can induce resistance mechanisms and modify bacterial infection, as well as the use of bacteriophages to protect crops against phytopathogenic bacteria, with an emphasis on their effect on the phenotypic heterogeneity of populations. This line offers a pathway for transferring scientific knowledge towards applicable solutions in agriculture.
